Echoes of Heritage

Accessibility statement

We want everyone to be able to explore our cultural programmes, collections and member services, including people who use assistive technology.

Prepared and last reviewed on 13 October 2026.

Our accessibility target

We are working towards the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at Level AA. This is our target, not a certification of full conformance. A complete manual assessment of all pages, signed-in services and assistive technology combinations has not yet been completed.

Read the WCAG 2.2 guidelines

Accessibility features

  • A skip link provides a keyboard entry point to the main content.
  • Visible keyboard focus and labelled form controls support keyboard and screen reader use.
  • Browser zoom remains available, including pinch zoom on mobile devices.
  • Reduced-motion preferences are respected. The Pause motion control stops decorative video and animation.
  • Text, labels and shared controls are being checked for sufficient contrast and usable touch targets.

Known limitations

  • Some films and third-party video players may not provide complete, verified captions or audio descriptions.
  • Older PDF documents may not be fully tagged for screen readers. Please request an accessible alternative.
  • External payment and sign-in services have their own accessibility behaviour, which we cannot fully control.
  • Some complex account, admin, calendar and bidding interactions still require manual keyboard and screen reader testing.

We review barriers as they are identified and prioritise problems that prevent people from completing a task.

Report a barrier or request an alternative

Email info@echoesofheritage.com or visit our contact page for telephone details. If a form is difficult to use, contact us directly instead.

Please include the page address, the task you were trying to complete, and the problem you encountered. If helpful, include your browser or assistive technology and your preferred way for us to reply. You do not need to disclose a disability.

We can discuss an alternative way to access information or complete your enquiry, booking or purchase.

How we assess accessibility

Our review combines automated checks against WCAG rules with selected keyboard, focus, zoom, reduced-motion and screen-size checks. Automated checks cannot prove full accessibility. Further manual testing, including testing with disabled users, remains necessary.
